CROP Hunger Walk for local pantries at IL Vets Home, October  
Food Pantry –1st Sunday monthly collection of non-perishable food supporting
     Quincy Salvation Army
Funeral Luncheons- Loving support to comfort member families
Golden Cross Ministries – Chaddock (Trauma Treatment Center),
     Lessie Bates Davis Neighborhood House, Sunset Home
Habitat for Humanity – Building homes with family support
Handcrafted with care – Baby layettes, hospital gowns, quilts,
     mobility carts, school desks & medicine cabinets for Blessing
     Hospital and more.
Horizons meals – Monday-Friday noon meal served at
     701 Hampshire
Madonna House - Housing for young mothers with children
Meals on Wheels – 1 to 1-1/2 hour Christian outreach delivering meals to      elderly
Mission Trips – Liberia, Guatemala, Youth Annual Trip, etc.
Music Ministry – Handbells, Brass, Children & Adult Choirs
Puppet Ministry – Our PIT Crew Creative Ministry Team -
     a creative link for conveying the good news!
UMC Advance - Heifer International, Disaster Relief, Anti- Malaria, P.E.T. assisted mobility,      QUANADA (Violence & Sexual Abuse Shelter) Red Bird Mission/School-Beverly, KY &
Unmet Needs of Adams County United Way –Since 1993, 8 social agencies and over 20 area
     churches provide assistance to families with medical or job loss emergencies
Plant...Care...Share Mission Garden – VSUMC East Lawn; proceeds benefit Horizons and other      food pantries and those in need in our community
Care Team – Prayers, cards & visits to members, shut-ins and prospective members
Well House Inc.– Women’s Jail Ministry & Transitional Home
Our Mission is to proclaim the gospel of Christ
and to bring people together in a caring church family that reflects God's love.
With the help of the Holy Spirit,
we will provide opportunities
for leadership, education, spiritual growth, and Christian service for persons of all ages.

VSUMC Special Funds with memo to mission of your choice.
