Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors

Choirs are meeting. All are welcome! (no practice during the summer)

Adult Chancel Choir	The Chancel Choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. This group presents an anthem every Sunday morning during the traditional service, 9:00 a.m. Everyone is welcome to join us at any time.
HandBell Choir	This choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 p.m. in the music room. The Handbells add an instrumental anthem as a form of worship to both of Vermont Street's church services. New members are welcome. It is recommended to have some music reading experience to ring bells.
Praise Team	The Connection Praise Team (11 a.m. service) is a group of singers and instrumentalists that offers contemporary hymns and choruses for all to sing. The Praise Team rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 8:00 p.m. "Come and get connected!"
Kids Musical	Kids in Kindergarten through Grade 5 will rehearse for the Kids Musical in Fellowship Hall each Wednesday Night from 7-8:00 p.m.

Sunday school Opening Exercises	Children's PreK-Gr. 5 Sunday School classes meet at 10:00 a.m. each Sunday in the "Loft" to begin their classes with song and praise!
Brass Choir	Vermont Street UMC has a wonderful brass choir! Their joyous music adds to several special services throughout the church year. Christmas Eve and Easter are two of the opportunities to experience the glorious sound of brass music.

Our worship services often include special music from vocal solos to instrumental ensembles. Please share your talents with the church family. You can contact the church office (mail to: vsumc@adams.net or 217-222-7468) to volunteer with this service to the church.
