Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors
Prayer ConcernsOpen Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart,
be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer. ~ Psalms 19: 14 Your concerns are our concerns!
As a Christian community, we are here to lift up and support one another. And, yes, that means that your concerns really are our concerns. St. Paul focused on the needs of the community as a whole, and so in the Spirit of Christ we too wish to bring ours closer together.
If you have prayer concerns, please feel free to contact Pastor Scott and let him know about these prayer requests. At VSUMC we strive to meet the spiritual needs of our congregation. If there is anything you need, please reach out so that the power of prayer can guide our community on the journey!

Going into the hospital? Please call the church office if you will be entering the hospital or have someone else call so we will be aware of your situation. If you are going into the hospital, be sure to indicate "Vermont Street United Methodist Church" as your church preference, not just "Methodist." That way we will know you're there when we check the list at the hospital. We don't want to miss you! Your health concerns and accompanying spiritual well being are among our highest priorities.
